Applications are now accepted to apply for the Shell Scholarship 2025 in Malaysia. Candidates can apply to be sponsored by two A-level levels and undergraduate students at prestigious domestic and international colleges and universities. This is dependent on how well the student performs academically.
Since its launch, the Shell Malaysia Scholarship Program has helped over 1500 students fulfill their academic dreams and goals and give them a special opportunity to enter the energy sector.

Eligibility Requirements for Shell Scholarship 2025
- Applicants must have strong leadership skills.
- They actively participate in extracurricular activities such as societies and clubs, sports, etc.
- Ensure you can work in the nation where the scholarship program is provided before applying.
- Must not be receiving other awards or scholarships.
- Applicants must be 2024 O-Level or 2023 SPM leavers.
- Willing to attend a chosen boarding school to pursue A-levels.
- Regular excellence in academics as demonstrated below:
- Minimum 8As (A/A+) in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) OR
- Excellent O-level grades at IGCSE (A*/A)
How to apply for Shell Malaysia Scholarship

Stage 1: Virtual Job Tryout and On-Demand Video Interview
Applicants will receive an invitation to complete the Virtual Job Tryout after submitting their application. To find out more about the Shell Assessed Internship and Graduate Programs, you can fill out a Realistic Job Preview. The On-Demand Video Interview will begin after you finish the Virtual Job Tryout. You will have two minutes to record your answer after you have had as much time as necessary to prepare for each of the three questions. It will take about forty minutes for the on-demand video interview and virtual job tryout. Although you can save your work, you must finish it within seven days of getting the invitation.
Stage 2: Final Assessment & Competency-Based Interview
The Scholarship Board of Trustees will conduct a virtual interview with applicants to the Shell Malaysia Scholarship Programme, wherein they will be asked scenario-based questions on their academic background and leadership experiences. By doing this, you can come to know us better and we can get to know you better.
Only those who have been shortlisted will be notified to proceed to the next application stage.
