Sarawak Energy Scholarship 2024 in Malaysia is open for talented students to pursue Pre-U / Undergraduate degree and postgraduate degree programs. The main goal of Sarawak Energy is to attract top Sarawakian talent to fulfill our mission of providing the region with sustainable, renewable energy while also fostering sustainable growth and prosperity for Sarawak and its people.

If you are a Sarawakian student who has good academic records and must demonstrate excellent leadership in extracurricular activities then you are encouraged to apply for this scholarship program.

Applications from students who wish to enroll in these courses are strongly encouraged.

Pre-U (Foundation or A-Levels)

  • at the time of application, 21 years of age or younger
  • Minimum 8As in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) (Students enrolled in SPM in 2024 may accept the trial SPM result.)
 Undergraduate Programme

  • At the time of application, 24 years of age or younger.
  • Minimum
  • Minimum 8As in SPM or 3.30 CGPA in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)/Matriculation/Foundation/Diploma
Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants are not receiving financial help or another award.
  • Applicants should excel in both extra-curricular activities and sports.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be an excellent team player.
  • No member of the family is currently receiving this scholarship.

For Postgraduate

For Master’s Degree (Coursework Only)

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Accounting
  • Finance

For PhD Degree

  • The research proposal needs to be completed at the time of the scholarship application, and the research paper needs to be relevant to Sarawak Energy’s core business.
Eligibility Criteria

  • At the time of application, 30 years of age or younger.
  • In an Undergraduate Degree or Master’s Degree minimum of 3,30 CGPA is required.
  • Applicants are not under any employment.
  • Full-time studies only.
  • Applicants are not receiving financial help or another award.
  • Applicants should excel in both extra-curricular activities and sports.
  • Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be an excellent team player.
  • No member of the family is currently receiving this scholarship.
