JPA MARA Scholarship – Program Khas JPA MARA (PKJM)

Applications for the JPA MARA Scholarship in Malaysia have now been accepted. This program is a collaboration between JPA and MARA. Bumiputera students who have excellent SPM results and want to pursue higher education in selected courses are eligible to apply for this sponsorship program.

Students who took the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) for the first time in 2023 are encouraged to apply for sponsorship from the Public Service Department (JPA) under the JPA MARA Special Program (PKJM) in 2024. The sponsorship will take the form of Variable Loans (PBU).

Outstanding Bumiputera students who graduated from SPM are sponsored by the JPA-MARA Special Program (PKJM) to pursue preparatory and first-degree studies in the fields of engineering, science, and technology (S&T), and social sciences in Japan, New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

JPA MARA Scholarship Requirement

  • Have Malaysian citizenship.
  • Applicants must be first time sitting for SPM during the year.
  • Should be in a good health condition.
  • JPA does not place parents of applicants on a blacklist.
  • The applicant has not been receiving sponsorship from any organizations.
  • Documents that will be updated soon will list the specific criteria for each course.

The application process for JPA MARA Special Program Sponsorship is online. The application for the JPA-MARA Special Program 2024 is open from 27 May 2024 (Monday), 2.00 pm to 9 June 2024 (Sunday), 5.00 pm.
