The JPA JKPJ Scholarship (Japan, Korea, France, and Germany Special Program) in Malaysia is offered by the Public Service Department (JPA) to SPM students in the fields of Engineering, Science and Technology (S&T). and Social Science in Japan, Korea, France, and Germany.
The Japan, Korea, France, and Germany Special Program (JKPJ) provides financial assistance in the form of a Variable Loan (PBU) to 200 qualified SPM graduates each year. Students accepted into the program will first undergo preparatory-level courses before commencing their undergraduate degrees in these countries.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the JPA JKPJ Scholarship, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Be a Malaysian citizen.
- Be in good health and free from chronic or contagious diseases.
- Have no immediate family members (parents) listed on the JPA blacklist or involved in ongoing legal proceedings with JPA.
- Be taking the SPM examination for the first time, either as a private candidate or enrolled in a recognized secondary school.
- Be under 19 years of age as of December 31 in the year the SPM exam is taken (or under 20 for students in transition programs).
- Have not received any other sponsorships or financial aid for the same level of study from other organizations.
Required Document
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:
- A copy of their MyKad (identity card)
- A certified copy of their SPM results
Application Process
The application process for the JPA JKPJ Scholarship is entirely online. Students who completed their SPM in 2023 are eligible to apply. Before starting the application, ensure all required documents are ready and carefully review the instructions.
