JPA JKPJ Scholarship (Japan, Korea, France and Germany Special Program)

The JPA JKPJ Scholarship (Japan, Korea, France and Germany Special Program) in Malaysia is offered by the Public Service Department (JPA) to SPM students in the fields of Engineering, Science and Technology (S&T). and Social Science in Japan, Korea, France, and Germany.

The Japan, Korea, France and Germany Special Program (JKPJ) is offered to 200 students graduating from the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) in the form of a Variable Loan (PBU). Before pursuing their first degree-level studies in the relevant countries, students will get sponsorship to attend preparatory-level courses.

JPA-JKPJ Scholarship in a Nutshell

The JPA-JKPJ scholarship provides the opportunity for students to pursue their studies in different countries such as Japan and Korea for science and social science students.

General Conditions:

  • Applicants must be Malaysian.
  • Must have a good health condition.
  • The mother or father of the candidate is not on the JPA blacklist or has legal action pending against them.
  • Taking the SPM exam for the first time as a private candidate or at any secondary school.
  • On 31 December of the year in which the SPM exam is taken, not yet 19 years old (20 years old for transition students).
  • For the same study level, they did not receive any sponsorship or financial aid from any other agency.

Application Process

The Japan, Korea, France and Germany Special Program application process is online. Students who are graduating with the Malaysian Certificate of Education in 2023 are invited to apply for this scholarship. Before applying for the scholarship must read the application instructions mentioned above.
