The ASEAN Scholarship is open for students from ASEAN countries to study in Singapore. Each year, a different number of scholarships are awarded. Students who perform very well on the selection exams and in the interviews are eligible to apply for scholarships.
Students will get the chance to widen their perspectives and develop vital abilities like communication, leadership, and other life skills. Additionally, they can support the development of mutual respect and understanding between Singaporean youth and youth from different nations.

ASEAN Scholarship Malaysia Benefits
The scholarship will provide Malaysian nationals with the following benefits;
- Settling-in allowance.
- School fees.
- Annual allowance with hostel accommodation.
- It also offered examination fees for GCE O-Level and A-Level (once only, if applicable).
- Return transport allowance for West Malaysians
- Return economy airfare for East Malaysians.
- Subsidized health benefits and accident insurance.
ASEAN Scholarship Requirements
To be eligible for the ASEAN Scholarship Singapore, Malaysia nationals must meet the following requirements;
- Must be proficient in the English language.
- Have performed Consistently well in school examinations.
- Actively participate in co-curricular activities and keep a record of it.

The result of each scholarship is the Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level certificate or a comparable credential.
Every year, the scholarship is offered according to the scholar’s academic standing.

ASEAN Scholarship Application
The application process for the ASEAN Scholarship in Malaysia is online. The application process is different for each country.
No document is required to be submitted at the time of application. Only shortlisted applicants will submit the documents including; a certified copy of their birth certificate, identity card or passport relevant result slips, etc.
