JPA LSPM Scholarship (Program Khas Lepasan SPM Dalam Negara)

Applications are now accepted to apply for the JPA LSPM Scholarship (Program Khas Lepasan SPM Dalam Negara) in Malaysia. Under the Department of Public Service (JPA) sponsorship, Malaysian certificates of study can be obtained through a special program graduation.

The Public Service Department (JPA) sponsors 200 deserving students who have completed the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) and received a minimum score of 9A+ to continue their education in the nation through the Special Program for Leaving the Malaysian Certificate of Education (LSPM). As long as they meet the requirements, candidates will be given financial support to attend preparatory courses up to the first degree at public universities (UA), government-linked universities (GLU), and private higher education institutions (IPTS) in the designated countries.

Eligibility Criteria

General Conditions

• Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
• To continue their studies in Malaysia, applicants must be certified healthy, free from contagious or chronic conditions that call for follow-up care, and able to follow their studies through to completion.
• JPA does not blacklist the parents of candidates or is currently in legal action by JPA.
• The applicant did not receive any other sponsorship or financial aid from any organization at the same study level.
• Applicants were taking the SPM exam for the first time as a private candidate or in any secondary school.
• Not yet 19 years old on December 31, the year the SPM exam is administered (20 years old for transition students).

Specific Terms

• Regardless of the remaining subjects (if any), students must receive SPM results of at least 9A+ in every subject.
• Before the regular offering year ends on December 31st, start studying at the preparatory level.
